Estimated difference in total paid

—

This compares two estimates — it is an illustrative difference, not a promised saving. Whether a structured payoff plan costs less for you depends on your creditors, balances, and whether reduced payoffs are agreed.

How these estimates are calculated

  • Minimum payments: estimated at monthly interest plus 1% of the remaining balance (minimum $25), a formula many card issuers use. No new charges, no late fees.
  • Interest rate: a blended estimated average APR based on the debt types you select, applied evenly across the balance.
  • Structured payoff plan scenario: assumes the enrolled balance is paid off at an estimated 50% of the amount owed, plus estimated plan fees of 25% of the enrolled amount. The plan term is estimated at 36 months for debts up to $20,000 and 48 months above that.
  • Not included: taxes that may apply to forgiven debt, credit-score effects, or fees from your creditors.

Every figure on this page is an estimate for illustration only. Nothing here is a promise, quote, or guarantee of results.

A structured payoff plan does not work for everyone. Creditors are not required to agree to a reduced payoff, a plan can affect your credit, and individual results vary. Only a review of your full situation can determine whether you qualify and what a plan would actually cost you.
